Dr Peta Leonard

Dr Peta Leonard has been a dedicated Brisbane GP for more than 20 years, after completing additional hospital based training in paediatrics and psychiatry. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice, especially preventive health care including cardiovascular disease and chronic illness. She has particularly enjoyed the opportunity to meet and care for multiple members within the family group over the years. She is an accredited dive medical examiner.

Dr Nici Leonard
MBBS ( Qld ) DipObs FRACGP

Dr Nici Leonard has over 20 years experience in General Practice, after initially spending 5 years in hospital positions (particularly in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Psychiatry based positions). This included 2 years attached to the Rural Doctors training program in Toowoomba. She holds a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has pursued further training with the Family Planning Association (FPA Health). She returned to General Practice in Brisbane in 2004 after seven years in a CBD based General Practice in Sydney. Her special interests are Women's Health, Antenatal Care, Psychiatry,and Men's Health. She is an accredited dive medical examiner.

Dr Kathryn Mainstone
MBBS ( Qld ) DRCOG ( London ) FRACGP

Dr Kathryn Mainstone graduated from the University of Queensland in 1986 and spent seven years in hospital positions in Queensland and the UK.She completed her obstetrics and gynaecology training for General Practice at Addenbrookes and The Rosie Maternity Hospital in Cambridge then went on to complete further training for General Practice at Lensfield Medical Practice in central Cambridge. She has spent ten years as a rural GP in Goondiwindi, S.W Queensland, where she was required to treat a wide variety of medical emergencies. She was regularly required to stabilize critically ill patients prior to their retrieval to major centres via the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Her special interests are Women's Health, Paediatrics and Psychiatry.

Dr Inga Atrens

Dr Inga Atrens graduated from the University of QLD in 1999. She has worked in General Practice in Gympie, Townsville and Brisbane. She enjoys all areas of General Practice, and has special interests in paediatrics, preventative medicine and travel medicine.

Dr Christine Shih

Dr Christine Shih graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2001. Christine has a special interest in Women's Health and has gained extensive experience working in Tertiary hospitals in Melbourne such as the Mercy Hospital for Women and the Royal Women's Hospital. Christine also worked at Family Planning Victoria and has completed further post graduate training in Reproductive and Sexual Health. Completing her General Practice training in Victoria, spending 5 years working as a rural GP in the Gippsland region prior to relocating to Brisbane in early 2012. Christine has held position of lecturer with Monash University and currently holds role as examiner with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She completed her GP training in Victoria.

Dr Natalie Banney

Dr Natalie Banney Graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992. After completing hospital and General Practice training in Brisbane, she worked at a Northside General Practice for over 12 years. She is excited to join the team at Market Street Medical Practice.

Dr Maree Patane - Dr Maree Patane has worked in General Practice for over 20 years and we are very pleased to have her join the Market Street team from 2016 She is experienced in caring for family members of all ages ( up to 3 or 4 generations of one family), and has special interests in Women’s Health (certificate in Fertility Regulation and Sexual Health from Family Planning), Preventative Health Care and Allergies. She has a keen interest in engaging male patients in chronic health care preventation measures including mental health and has provided general practice services and counselling to current and retired members of the medical profession.

Dr Libby Gray Working overseas for 2 years from Dec 2015 - Dr Libby Gray has graduated from the University of NSW in 1990 and has a diploma in Integrative Medicine. Her interests are in Women’s health, preventative medicine, acupuncture and nutrition.
